How to Join
As a non-profit organization, we rely on the dedication and enthusiasm of our volunteers to assist us with our mission to enhance the quality of life for residents in the Fifth Ward and surrounding communities.
In order to fulfill our mission and provide the best programs possible for our seniors and children, we require all potential volunteers to go through an approval process, which could include a criminal background check, before becoming a registered Julia C. Hester House volunteer.
